36 week doctor appt.

So I went to the doctor today and after feeling around on my stomach she still wasn't for sure if the baby was breech or head down. She decided we should do an ultrasound to make sure which was a nice surprise! She also check my cervix and said it was starting to thin and that she thought I would have her early. The ultrasound confirmed that she is head down so no C-section for me!!! She also took some measurements and estimated that she weighs 6-7 pounds right now and from the measurements she calculated that my due date would actually be May 8. So we shall see....If that is correct only a couple more weeks!

Baby Room Update.....

Here are a couple of pics from the baby room....we are getting close! Jeff wanted this picture up since no one would believe he actually did the chair rail molding himself!
We ended up getting a Lazy-Boy instead of a glider so we can enjoy it after she grows up. The changing table is another new addition to the room thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Mandsager.

Jeff and Brody had to try the chair out....it works!

We have some curtains to hang and the "Beall" mural to be painted and we are set!

34 Week Appt. Update!!

So it's official...I'm huge now! I had my doctor's appointment today and no changes in the position of the baby...still breech. So she has 2 weeks to decide how she wants to come out! I'm ok with either way. After seeing what I looked like with just the T-shirt on I decided I should try a light sweater to sort of camoflage by belly, as you can tell below it didn't really have any effect!

Erica's Birthday!!

Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes. We celebrated by going out to eat with my family. I am almost 34 weeks in the picture...not too much longer!! She is still in the breech postition so in the next 2 weeks if she doesn't turn I will be scheduling a C-section...we will see!
