Happy Thanksgiving!!

Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving...here are some pics from the weekend! Hayden is starting to get up on all "4's" and is constantly moving/rolling around. I think it won't be too long before she starts trying to crawl around. She always wants to be where the action is!

Grupe's Baby Shower

Last weekend Hayden attended her first baby shower! She also got to meet all of my college friends that live out of state! She had a great time and we enjoyed getting to see everyone!

Hayden 6 month Doctor Appt.

Hayden went to see Dr. Jeff yesterday and is getting so big! He was surprised at how strong she was for her age and said she is bigger than most 9 month olds (height and weight). He said she is just perfect!

Happy Halloween!!

Here is Hayden as a doggy! She and Brody passed out candy to the neighborhood kids most of the evening. She did visit a few neighbor houses...and she loves chocolate!

Just so happened to catch her dog in the background, he is waiting patiently to see if he can leave his yard to visit the neighbors carpet like grass!! The funny thing is Brody loves our neighbors grass so much whenever we go over there he just rolls, and rolls, and rolls in it. I guess because ours is not as cushiony...I don't know. Jeff is working on it, maybe next year.

4 month checkup

Hayden had her 4 month doctor visit today. She weighed 15 lbs 8 ounces (75th percentile), 26 1/2 inches long(>97 percentile), and her head cirumference was 16 inches (50th percentile). She continues to be off the charts for her height! Dr. Jeff said we can start feeding her rice cereal. She was full of smiles and even giggled for him.

New Tricks!

The pics below are of Hayden's new tricks in her bouncy seat...The first one is of her just hanging out like she normally does in the morning.


After putting some dishes in the dishwasher I look up and here she is doing gymanastics by balancing on the edge!!


This pic below is after I straightened her out from the above pics...obviously the normal way to sit in the bouncy seat is not cool anymore!!

Hayden found her feet!!

Hayden found her feet about a week and a half ago. Now she helps me change her diaper by holding her feet up. She has been doing more and more in her exersaucer also. We have to stuff blankets in the seat to keep her up though! 2 more weeks until her 4 month check-up. I can't wait to see how much she has grown. As you can see in the pics she is a drool machine now! You have to be careful or she will slime you.

STATE FAIR and PLAYTIME!!

We have been able to take BOB out over the past week! She has been able to sit up enough on her own for 20-30 minute strolls.

These pictures are from our adventure to the state fair. They had a bug petting zoo that had hissing cochroaches and millipedes(I think that is what Jeff is holding) and all kinds of crazy bugs like you see on Fear Factor! Also notice the tall corn...I don't think they have this stuff in Iowa! Jeff is not tiny(6'3") and this corn makes him look rather small!!
