HERE IT IS!

For all of you who requested it, here it is! Erica's first belly shot. We had our second doctors appt. this week. Erica is currently 16 1/2 weeks, has gained a couple of pounds and the baby had a heart rate of 145 beats per minute. She has slowly gotten over the nausea and vomiting and is starting to feel better.

Our next appt is January 3rd and will include the first ultrasound, which should end the suspense!

First Doctors Appt.

So we're a little late posting this but thought we'd give you details of the first doctors appt. Erica had at 12 weeks (Currently 15 1/2 weeks). Erica had to get on the dreaded scale, but much to our surprise, she actually had lost 2 pounds. This was most likely due to her regular morning prayer session to the porcelain gods! Yes, she has been a bit nauseated in the morning, and night and well every hour. We listened to the heartbeat of the baby and it measured a loud and strong 160 beats per minute. Now every wives tale and Chinese predictor that Erica has taken has said that we would have a boy, but the heartbeat kinda cancels that out, so we'll just have to wait a couple of more weeks to find out.

Next appt. with Dr. Moon is this Thursday so we'll have more to come.....

Mandsager's Little Monster

In case all of you haven't heard, we (ur Erica) is expecting. With our magic date being the 21st of May, we thought we would share our experience with all of you. Since most of you now live about 300 miles away (Iowa, Go Hawks!), this little page will keep you abreast of everything happening. The good, bad and the ugly!
